1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Nook ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms form a legal agreement between you and Laura González López ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Wellness, Not Medical Care
Nook offers self-guided wellness sessions adapted from EMDR techniques, breathing, and bilateral calm exercises. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional. If you are experiencing a crisis or a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately (in Spain, 112, or the suicidal-behaviour helpline 024). Use the App at your own pace and only when it feels right for you.
3. AI-Generated Content
The guide's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon as professional, clinical, or emergency advice. You are responsible for how you act on anything said during a session.
4. Subscriptions & Free Trial

Breathing and bilateral-calm tools are free. Guided sessions include a free sample; unlimited guided sessions require Nook Pro, an auto-renewable subscription offered as weekly and annual plans. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. After any free trial, the subscription renews automatically at the stated price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings; deleting the App does not cancel it. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited on purchase. Purchases are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms (standard EULA) and Apple's refund policies.
5. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including design, graphics, icons, prompts, and code — are the exclusive property of Laura González López and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt its operation; or (d) redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laura González López shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
10. Changes & Governing Law
We may modify these Terms at any time; updated terms will be posted here with a new revision date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
